This week in Music
"Little ducks are funny. Little ducks are fine. Going to the swimming hole walking in a line."
This week, we learned about ducks and their habits. We learned about using rhythm sticks and body percussion by exploring ways of keeping the steady beat on our bodies. We read a story about baby ducklings and made a play using just our hands!
Coming up next!
"And on that farm he had some..... geese and lambs! E-I-E-I-O"
Next up in music we will be learning about geese and lambs. With favorites like Old Macdonald, Duck, Duck, Goose, and Mary Had a Little Lamb, your students will really be moving! We will be learning about clapping rhythms using our names and also some history of our country through The Star-Spangled Banner.
